  • $50 for opening a free checking account and having a $200+ direct deposit or making 5+ signature-based purchases per month, for three consecutive months

My Recommendation:

This is a solid deal if you plan on using the free checking account – because you must meet the deal requirements for three months.

I think you’ll also be pleasantly surprised by how well credit unions treat you.  I do most of my banking with a credit union and enjoy getting access to more ATM’s and paying less interest on loans.
